Sizes 2Y to 7Y. Measured, not guessed.
Choose by the child’s body, then check the garment measurements on the piece before you buy. This table is a body guide. It is not the measurement of a finished garment.
How a garment is measured
Shoulder, sleeve, bust, length, waist, and hip, as marked on the drawing. The drawing has no numbers. The numbers for a finished piece go on that piece before it is sold.
The child’s body
- Height: barefoot, back to a wall, top of the head to the heel.
- Chest: around the fullest part, under the arms.
- Waist: about 2 cm above the navel.
- Hips: around the fullest part.

Centimetres are the measure. Inches are rounded to the nearest half inch. These rows are the child’s body, not the measurement of a finished garment.

Between sizes
- If the child is slim and the weight sits at the low end of a band, choose by height.
- If the weight sits at or over the high end, take the larger band.
- For a winter layer under the piece, take the next band up.
Write to [email protected] with height and chest. We reply within two business days and say which band we would choose.
What is on the piece
Fibre, lining, and closures are named on the piece before it is sold. Garment measurements are listed then too. Nothing is described as organic unless it is certified as such. We do not sell shoes, belts, or ties.
Care
Follow the cloth named on the piece. Where the piece does not say otherwise:

| Wash | Hand wash. If you use a machine, use a laundry bag and the delicate cycle. |
| Detergent | A mild detergent. No bleach. |
| Rinse | Rinse until the water is clear. |
| Dry | Air dry, out of direct sun. Do not tumble dry. |
| Iron | Low heat, if the piece needs it. |
| Store | Dry and aired. Not in a damp room. |
- Wash a new piece on its own the first time.
- Wash dark cloth apart from light cloth.
- Turn bows, lace, or trim inside out before washing.
We do not claim one fabric for every piece. If a cloth needs different care, the piece says so before it is sold.
